Case Summary

The LACC, through its investigative team, based on the General Auditing Commission (GAC) report held accountable NIC former Chairman Davis and Comptroller Tunis for US$708, 463.53 vouchers for Fiscal year 2011, of which US$686,985.47 are unsupported, while for fiscal years 2011/2012 payment vouchers for accounting US$796,045.00, of which again US$719,796.00 is without expenditure records

Nature of Case

Hon. Nattey B. Davies, Chairman of the NIC and others allegedly misapplied over Seven Hundred Thousands United States dollars of Government funding. Court has ordered retrial.
