Rev. Nimely was accused of duping over 90 persons out of U$87,300.00 under the pretense of facilitating their travel to Australia. The Reverend was charged by the Liberia National Police and forwarded to the Monrovia City Court for prosecution. He failed to obtain a valid criminal appearance bond for his temporary release and was ordered incarcerated at the Monrovia Central Prison where he remained until his temporary release on April 15,2025, spending nearly a year under incarceration. Rev. Nimely was released temporarily on bail by order of Criminal Court 'C' Judge His Honor Blamo Dixon in April 2025. Rev. Nimely allegedly collected U$970.00 each from about 90 persons under the pretense of visa processing fees for a conference in Australia.
